Please note that we will hold on to submissions for consideration for up to 6 months. Unfortunately we are unable to offer financial compensation for contributions at this time. Authors will retain the rights to all submitted and published works.
Submission Guidelines
- For completed written pieces, please either include entire piece in the body of your email or as an email attachment in .doc or .rtf format.
- If you are sending a query, please include samples of your writing.
- We prefer that all text submissions be more than 500 words. Other than that, the sky is the limit!
- Please have a little care for our eyes – no text smaller than 12 pt.
- Submission should have some connection to style, fashion and the art of dress. This doesn’t mean you have to name-drop top designers in your short-story or wax poetic about Louboutin shoes. This simply means that there must be some connection to clothing – perhaps it is the old t-shirt that evokes a memory, or the outfit that brought the most humiliation. Or it is the appropriation of indigenous cultures by mass-produced clothing. Or the color of a backpack worn by your crush as it recedes down the hall.

- Please submit photographs and art as email attachments.
- If you are submitting multiple files, please zip them.
- If you think your photographs/illustrations might be a good fit to accompany future text posts, please send us the link to your portfolio.
